    I am copying this from an article in the November AARP BULLETIN.

"After a bumpy start - the telemarketing industry filed suit to block the registry, and a judge halted it's enforcement - Do Not Call is up and running. Last month a federal appeals court said the registry - with 52 million numbers- could stay in force pending a final decision in the lawsuit. ........
