At the top of the page you will see links to all the sections in the site. You can click on them and they will take you to that section. Front Page takes you back to the main banner page. WHATS NEW will show you all the new posts that have been posted on the site that you haven't viewed. At the top of each section you will see links to List News/History/Reviews or Add News/History/Reviews, Categories and My FamilyGram. List brings up the list of all posts in the section. The site has 9 sections. Each section, except The Family Tree and Polls, has categories. In Photos they are called Albums. All items are placed in a category to make them easier to find. More categories can be added if needed. But it is best to keep the categories to a minumum. When you post something you need to scroll down and check a category for that post before you click on save. that puts your post in a category. The posts you see listed on the Front Page, in each section, are only the newest items that have been posted. To get to all items listed in a section you can use the links at the top of the page or in each section you will see a Dropdown Box. Click on the small triangle and a list of all the Categories in that section will drop down. At the top of the list is All News, All History or All Reviews. Click on that and it brings up the list of all the posts in the section. When you bring up this list there might be several pages. You will see the number of pages in a small box on the top right or bottom right. This also has a drop down box. You can use the dropdown box to navigate the pages in each section. You can click on any category from the dropdown box and it brings up the list of all posts in that category. Remember that what you see listed on the Front Page is a fraction of what is in the site. Lots of fun stuff in Reviews. Puzzles, jokes, poems and stories. Also some music posts. There are links in the banner on the front page to interesting pages. You can read the St Joseph News Press by clicking on the link in the banner There are links to many other things in the site. Each one of you has a free e mail account in this site. All you have to do is activate it. The purpose of the site is to stay in touch, and to have a little fun. If you have a problem with anything you need to let me know. I can't do anything about it if I don't know. |
